We want to be completely transparent about the project so that you may know exactly what to expect. A handful of concerned people have reached out to us regarding the copyrights issue. We appreciate your concern and would like to address this topic from the start.

One of the first things that was considered while initiating this project was legality. Please note that this is solely a fan project with no company nor corporate in the picture. And like most fan projects, there is no profit involved, as it is simply a collective effort of fans to show appreciation to the idol(s) they love.

In regular circumstances, this should not have been that big of an issue. However, keeping in mind that this project will be dedicated to OT7 there is a potential risk of some parties being completely against this initiative.

While the game is inspired by and dedicated to Monsta X and Monbebe, to make sure this initiative is not halted, a few measures will be taken:

1. While inspiration may be drawn from MX when designing the game’s characters, we will NOT feature the members directly. We do not want to misrepresent Monsta X in any way.

2. No MX song nor picture will be used in the game. This is due to the copyrights SS holds.

HOWEVER, as we’ve mentioned before, this project is for Monbebe, by Monbebe. Thus, for more inclusivity, we plan to collaborate with other mbbs, who have started fan projects such as song projects, in case they’d want their efforts to be featured in the game.

Because there are still chances that our efforts are misunderstood, we’d like to assert here again, that this will not be a game based on Monsta X, but rather a game inspired by them, their friendship & strength, and the dedication & resilience of Monbebe at the face of adversity.

Final Note: Do we guarantee that there will be 0% chances of problems occurring in the making of this project? No. We’re certain the entities in power are capable of finding loopholes in our efforts.

Will we still continue despite the risk? Yes. Because we genuinely believe this could serve as an attempt at collective healing and resistance.
